선라이즈는 [웜홀](https://wiki.tokenpost.kr/w/wormhole) 랩스에서 인큐베이팅한 프로젝트로, 토니 진이 만들었다. 다른 네트워크의 토큰과 디지털 자산을 솔라나로 가져와 단일한 '정식 버전'으로 통합하고 출시 시점부터 유동성을 갖추도록 조율하는 자산 게이트웨이 역할을 한다. 웜홀 NTT, 레이어제로 OFT 등 여러 브리지 기술을 프레임워크에 구애받지 않고 지원한다.[^1]
